Man Nguyen Private Vietnam Tour Packages – Private Hoian Danang & Ba Na Hill (5D4N)

My 100% customised Private Tour Packages are ideal if you are a group planning to visit Vietnam for 5D4N (5 Days 4 Nights).

Here, our short package is centred on charming Hoi An Ancient Town. Another of our UNESCO World Heritage Sites, pretty Hoi An never fails to delight its many visitors. Sometimes busy but always a real pleasure to discover, this former port is a melting-pot of history, architecture, eras & styles. Hoi An is the centre of Vietnam tailoring, and we leave you time to explore its many shopping options.

Yet cosmopolitan Da Nang city is the complete opposite – recently named ‘The Miami of Vietnam’ by CNN Travel. With its bustling centre, awe-inspiring attractions and stunning beaches right on its doorstep, our third city is where many Vietnamese aspire to live!

Just an hour north-west of Hoi An is Ba Na Hills. The largest tourist attraction in Vietnam and reached by a world record-holding cable car system. The resort includes its famous ‘Golden Hand Bridge’ opened in 2018.

And of all SE Asia countries, Vietnam probably has the most diverse food scene. The abundance of spices produced by central Vietnam’s mountainous terrain sets this region’s cuisine apart from North & South Vietnam. With the balance between fresh herbs and meats and selective use of spices, our region’s food is considered one of the healthiest cuisines in the world.

Day 1

Hoi An's regional Vietnamese dish made with noodles, pork, and local greens with Man Nguyen Private Vietnam Tour Packages

We Meet & Greet right at Da Nang International Airport’s arrival hall where you will be safely transferred the 45 minutes to your Hoi An hotel for check-in. We head out again in the evening for our City Food Tour, when most of the street vendors open for business (food included). We visit the most popular street stalls and hidden alleyways to try the unforgettable specialities of Hoi An. And if you plan to have clothes made, you can visit your choice of tailor this evening – it is always wise to leave time for perhaps two fittings during your stay.

Day 2

Fukian Assembly Hall or Phuc Kien in the Hoi An ancient town with Man Nguyen Private Vietnam Tour Packages

Today is our full-day tour of Hoi An ancient town using the towns own electric carts. We visit Cam Kim island to visit country families by private boat, seeing how they work & live. We ride the unique basket boats of Vietnam before returning to Hoi An town for lunch. We take a pleasant afternoon walking tour of UNESCO listed Hoi An ‘ancient town’. Including Central Market, the Japanese Bridge, Fujian (Phúc Kiến) Assembly Hall + Tan Ky historic house. With evening time in the very pretty Hoi An Lantern Area & Riverside – where you enjoy a short boat ride to make a wish as you float your own lotus candle on the river.

Day 3

Aerial view golden bridge in Man Nguyen Private Vietnam Tour Packages

We head out of Hoi An today for our Full-Day tour of modern Da Nang city in the morning plus Ba Na Hills & Golden Bridge in the afternoon. Our first stop is central Vietnam’s mysterious Marble Mountains before heading into Da Nang centre via My Khe beach (with its own history) right on the city’s doorstep. We discuss Vietnam’s unique ‘coffee culture‘ experience in one of Da Nang’s coffee shops before making our way across the iconic ‘Dragon Bridge‘ to Son Tra Peninsula with its towering ‘Lady Buddha’ & Ling Ung Pagoda. An authentic Vietnamese Lunch is included before we drive 45 minutes to the cable car station for Ba Na Hills and its famous Golden Hand Bridge. We enjoy the afternoon at Vietnam’s largest tourist attraction before making our way back to your hotel in the early evening.

Day 4

My Son ruins in Vietnam with Man Nguyen Private Vietnam Tour Packages

We can afford a slightly later start today, making the short drive to Tra Que village for your private Vietnamese cooking class, using freshly picked herbs & vegetables from the organic herb & vegetable patches that surround you. After sampling your own home-made lunch, we drive west out of Hoi An into the mountainous region surrounding Mỹ Sơn Sanctuary. Spoken Mee Sun, and graphically illustrated by the remains of a series of impressive tower temples, it dates from the 4th to the 13th centuries. The My Son valley was a site for religious ceremonies for Kings of the ruling dynasties of Champa, as well as a burial place for Cham royalty and national heroes.

Day 5

Hotel Pick-Up and short transfer to Da Nang International Airport for your onwards flight to Saigon or Hanoi.

Imperial Hue City & Hai Van Pass – One Night Extension

Once the imperial capital of Vietnam and located on the picturesque Perfume River, evocative Hue is a city crammed full of ancient and modern history, photogenic sites and wonderful food opportunities. Unlike Da Nang, Hue has resisted the dash for modernisation and remains a pleasant and gentile reminder of a past Vietnam.

Getting to Hue from Hoi An we cross the Hai Van Pass, a scenic 21 km drive made world famous by the BBC ‘Top Gear’ programme. And said to be one of the best coast roads in the world, “a deserted ribbon of perfection!”

This is a full day tour with a 8:00AM start after breakfast. We check-out photogenic Lang Co Bay & visit fishing families along Lap An lagoon before entering Hue city and its 19th century Hue Citadel, the imperial city remains and Forbidden City. We take a private ferry boat across the Perfume River to the steps of Thien Mu (Fairy Lady) Pagoda with its 21m high tower on the north bank. After an authentic Hue lunch we make the short drive through rural Hue Province into Chau Chu mountain and the elaborate tomb of Emperor Khanh Dinh with its unique imperial audience court. Late afternoon we make the scenic return to your Hoi An hotel on the ‘quick road’ through Hai Van tunnel.
