My wife and I booked the new “evening tour” which included hotel pickup in Danang, a bike ride through the city of Hoi An, a boat ride with bbq dinner, and strolling through the Ancient Town. From start to finish, we had a great experience even all the communication before and after the trip. Our guide, Tuan (Tyler) was full of joy and it is obvious he loves his city. The bike ride was a nice way to capture the countryside and see the community garden with all organic vegetation. Tuan was very knowledgeable about Hoi An and shared interesting facts throughout our ride. We dropped off our bikes at a dock where a medium-sized passenger river boat was waiting to take us to watch the sunset before dropping us off at the Ancient Town. While we anchored to watch the sunset mid river, our guide and boat captain barbecued shrimp, eggplant, mushrooms and other delicious dishes for us to enjoy on the boat. After feasting, we made our way to the Ancient Town where we appreciated the beautiful lanterns and made a wish on a candle lantern of our own that we floated off on the river. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide and tour. We even received a call from our guide after the tour thanking us which was a nice touch.
