Man Nguyen Private Vietnam Tour Packages – Private Saigon (5D4N)
My 100% customised Private Tour Packages are ideal if you are a group planning to visit Vietnam for 5D4N (5 Days 4 Nights).Saigon dates to the 4th century. It became the capital of French Cochin-China and from 1955-1975 the independent republic of South Vietnam.
Saigon city merged with Gia Dinh Province in 1976. It became Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) after our revered leader and president. Whilst the greater city is ‘Ho Chi Minh City’, Sài Gòn remains the official name of its centre. Its the name most locals prefer.
Today, Saigon is the business and financial hub of modern Vietnam. Its skyscrapers tower over classical western-style buildings, villas and wide boulevards. Our 5D4N private package includes all the popular attractions PLUS a snapshot of real Saigon and its surrounds.

It is impossible to travel anywhere in Vietnam without mention of ‘The War’. So today we drive a short distance to the Củ Chi district of Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) to visit the tunnels of Củ Chi. This is an immense network of interconnecting tunnels, part of a larger network that underlies much of our country.
They were the location of several Vietnam War military campaigns and preserved by our government as a war memorial park. We include lunch before returning to Saigon. Here you can spend some time shopping in the city malls or exploring back streets with our guide before returning to your hotel.
Day 5
Hotel Pick-Up and Transfer to Tân Sơn Nhất International Airport for your onwards flight.
Vũng Tàu Night Extension
Extending your stay by a night allows for a drive south to the seaside resort of Vũng Tàu. This is a lovely town on the South Vietnam coast with an interesting colonial history. It is a favourite destination for well-to-do Saigonese.
We include the 1907 French-designed lighthouse, for coffee and an amazing city view. The amazing 100ft tall concrete statue of Jesus gazing across the East Sea said to be the tallest religious statue in South Vietnam. There are 811 steps to its base plus 122 inside to the viewing platform on its arm! The ‘White Palace‘, built in 1898 for the French Governor (Paul Doumer, who later became French President). The 3 beaches of Vũng Tàu where there are wonderful seafood restaurants where we take our included lunch.
If time permits on our return journey we visit the 20th century Long Son house. Established by Le Van Muu, a follower of the Tu An Hieu Nghia faith (unique to the southern regions of Vietnam). The impressive architecture of Long Son is a mixture of local traditional religion plus Nho and Lao religions.
Late afternoon we return to your Saigon hotel.
